Can you believe the 2022-2023 school year is almost upon us? In a little over four weeks we will see students all across Ontario returning to classes both in-person as well as online.
Back-to-school can be a chaotic time for everyone involved – students are adjusting to new grades, new classmates, and new environments, teachers are welcoming new faces and dealing with new curriculums, and parents are managing everything behind the scenes, from schedules to lunches to extracurriculars, and so much more (thanks mom and dad!)

At Christian Virtual School, our mission is to connect learners to quality online Christian education. Through personalized teaching and compassionate administrative support, we deliver exceptional learning experiences that are firmly rooted in a Christ-centered worldview.
We offer student led, self-paced, and entirely online courses from Grades 4 through 11. Our courses give students the flexibility to work at their own pace, while being confident that they are learning the Ontario curriculum. Students have access to an Ontario Certified Teacher in each course they’re registered for – to help guide them through the course, to answer their questions, and to give them feedback on assignments.
Being an online, remote school, we understand the importance of community. To continue promoting and exemplifying community in every student’s day-to-day, we provide as many opportunities for connection as we can. Students have access to their homeroom on a daily basis, can join us at the “cafeteria” on a weekly basis, participate in a student social on a monthly basis, and more! We have big plans to provide even more opportunities to help develop a school community, and are always open to feedback and new ideas.
Since we opened our virtual doors to students back in September 2020, we have been continuously growing and improving, in order to offer quality content to all of our students. As of September 2022, CVS will be offering several new courses at both the elementary and secondary level.
