Christian Virtual School is so excited to present to you our latest course launch: AMU2O – Grade 10 Music!
This music course has been a labour of love for our team here at CVS! We are so grateful to our writers and developers whose hard work has allowed us to offer this to our current and incoming students.
We are also excited to welcome Mr. Christopher Brown to our team of teachers (watch for his spotlight!), to teach our new music course.
Course Outline
This course emphasizes the creation and performance of music at a level consistent with previous experience. Students will develop musical literacy skills by using the creative and critical analysis processes in composition, performance, and a range of reflective and analytical activities. Students will develop their understanding of musical conventions, practices, and terminology and apply the elements of music in a range of activities. They will also explore the function of music in society with reference to the self, communities, and cultures.
