School Policies
Please review the following policies and confirm that you agree to them before moving on to the next step of the registration process.

Refund Policy
As a not-for-profit organization, Christian Virtual School cannot offer full refunds. Within hours of registration, our administration undertakes many tasks including activating the student account, completing the enrolment, contracting the teacher, establishing electronic/physical files, tracking the enrolment for Ministry purposes, and more. Even if the student does not begin the course, the preliminary work in our office will be completed. However, if you are unsatisfied with your experiences, or have concerns, please reach out to our administration staff. If you choose to withdraw from your course(s) within 14 days of registration, you may qualify for a partial refund. After 14 days, we cannot offer any refunds.
Course Transfer Policy
A student has the option to transfer from one course to another within 1 month of enrollment.* If a student requests a transfer, an administrative fee of $100 CAD will apply. .

*Transfers will not be available to a student who has completed more than three assessments in the original course.
Unenrollment Policy
There is no set schedule for a student to follow, nor are there due dates for completing assignments. The student may start their course as soon as they are enrolled and move through it at their own pace. However, students are expected to complete their courses within 12 months of enrolment. Students who have not completed their course within 12 months from the day of enrollment in that course, will be required to work directly with the Guidance team and align with a schedule that will support the student in completing the course within an agreed upon timeline. Students who do not respond to the Guidance team or who do not commit to the schedule will be unenrolled from their course after the 12 months have passed.
Attendance Policy
It is expected that all Christian Virtual School students log in at least once per week, unless alternative arrangements have been made with the school. A week (7 days) without at least one login attempt will be counted as one absence. All absences are recorded in the student’s file and reported on midterm and final reports. If a student receives four consecutive absences, without making alternative arrangements with the school, they will be considered truant and will be unenrolled from their courses.
Confidentiality Policy
Please note that Christian Virtual School may communicate with parents or legal guardians of students under the age of 18. In addition, Christian Virtual School will communicate with any student's home school and applicable post-secondary institutions or organizations. Students over the age of 18 will receive an email upon registration requesting permission to allow Christian Virtual School to communicate with third-party individuals.

All policies may be modified at any time at the Christian Virtual School website. The use of Christian Virtual School courses indicates that the student and/or parent/guardian accepts these policies.
