School Policies
Please review the following policies and confirm that you agree to them before moving on to the next step of the registration process.

Refund Policy
As a not-for-profit organization, Christian Virtual School cannot offer full refunds. Within hours of registration, our administration undertakes many tasks including activating the student account, completing the enrolment, contracting the teacher, establishing electronic/physical files, tracking the enrolment for Ministry purposes, and more. Even if the student does not begin the course, the preliminary work in our office will be completed.

However, if you are unsatisfied with your experiences, or have concerns, please reach out to our administration staff. If you choose to withdraw from your course(s) within 14 days of registration, you may qualify for a partial refund. After 14 days, we cannot offer any refunds.
Course Transfer Policy
A student has the option to transfer from one course to another at any time within the 12-month completion deadline.* If a student transfers into a new course, the 12-month deadline will not refresh. The student will be required to complete the new course within the original 12-month deadline, based on the enrolment date of the original course. If a student requests a transfer, an administrative fee will apply.

*Transfers will not be available to a student who has completed more than three assessments or to a student who has extended the course past the initial 12-month deadline.
Unenrollment Policy
There is no set schedule for a student to follow, nor are there due dates for completing assignments. The student may start their course as soon as they are enrolled and move through it at their own pace. The only restriction is that the course must be completed within 12 months of enrolment. A student will be removed from a course if it is not completed within 12 months.
Course Prerequisite Policy
Certain courses require the student to have completed a prerequisite course. It is the student's responsibility to provide a copy of an Ontario Student Transcript, final report card or Credit Counselling Summary showing successful completion of the prerequisite course. This document should be sent to guidance@christianvirtualschool.com upon registration. A student may register at any time and, upon registration, will have access to the first unit of a course. However, the rest of the content will remain locked until prerequisite evidence has been provided.
Confidentiality Policy
Please note that Christian Virtual School may communicate with parents or legal guardians of students under the age of 18. In addition, Christian Virtual School will communicate with any student's home school and applicable post-secondary institutions or organizations. Students over the age of 18 will receive an email upon registration requesting permission to allow Christian Virtual School to communicate with third-party individuals.

All policies may be modified at any time at the Christian Virtual School website. The use of Christian Virtual School courses indicates that the student and/or parent/guardian accepts these policies.
Reach Ahead Policy
Christian Virtual School offers a Reach Ahead Program that allows elementary students to begin taking high school courses early. According to Ontario Schools 2016, section 2.5.2.1, students can reach ahead during their Grade 8 school year or in the summer prior to entering Grade 9.

If a student wishes to enroll in the Reach Ahead program, they must submit the Reach Ahead Enrollment Request to Christian Virtual School for approval prior to completing this registration form. If registration is completed before approval, we cannot guarantee enrollment into the course(s), or a full refund on any payments made.
